Microsoft surprised the world with the new Surface Studio. The 28″ PixelSense™ Display with a resolution of 4500×3000 (aspect ratio 3:2) offers 192ppi. You can choose between a 1TB and 2TB hybrid drive for storage and memory between 8 and 32GB. The connection are reduced to the most important ones: 4 x USB 3.0 (one high power port), full-size SD™ card reader, Mini DisplayPort and a 3.5 mm headset jack. For graphically intensive use cases Microsoft offers the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 980M with 4GB GDDR5 memory instead of the smaller GTX 965M with 2GB GDDR5 memory. The entry model comes with a $2,999 price tag and if you want to go all-in the high-end version will cost you $4,199.
