After BMW first revealed the i8 Concept Spyder during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas earlier this year, the release is now set for 2018. One of the major differences between the regular i8 and the new Spyder will be the battery capacity leading to a higher range. New so called “Air Touch Displays” will be gesture-controlled. The back seats will be replaced with the convertible top system.
